WARNER2 FRENCH (PHILIP1) was born Abt. 1814 in Kentucky. Most census records say that Warner was
born in KY but one says he was b. in OH. He died about 1861, possibly in Kansas.
He married (1) JUDITHA RUSH 29 January 1829 in Vermillion co. IN. She was born in Kentucky, and died Abt.
1835 in Warren co. IN.
He married (2) CHARITY RUSH 02 September 1835 in Fountain co. IN. She was born 03 June 1816, and died
22 December 1847 in Vermillion co. IN and is buried in West Lebanon Cemetery, Warren co. IN.
He was appointed guardian of minor heirs of himself and Juditha Rush in Aug. 1836. Warner purchased a plot
of land from James W. Rush in 1837 in Vermillion co. IN. James Rush may be Juditha and Charity's father.
Research is not completed on the Rush family.
He married (3) MARY LESTER 18 August 1848 in Vermilion co. IL. She was born 22 April 1824 in KY, and died
26 February 1856 in Vermillion co. IN and is buried in Trowbridge Cemetery, Hillsdale, IN.
He married (4) MARGARET CLINE 08 April 1857 in Vigo co. IN.
On Mar. 6, 1859, Warner sent a permission note for his daughter Mary to be married. It is on file in the county
clerks' office in Danville, IL. At that time, he and Margaret were living in the village of State Line, IN, that sits
on the Illinois/Indiana line northeast of Danville, IL.

2.10 JACOB FRENCH, b.26 February 1856 lived in Goodland IN. Mary died from childbirth and Warner was
left with Isaac, Elizabeth, and infant Jacob to care for. Apparently, at this time Elizabeth and Jacob were sent to
live with relatives, Jacob and Diannah McMann French in Illinois. It appears that after Warner sent the
permission note for Mary Ann's marriage in 1859, he and Margaret went west shortly after.

2.11 MARY JANE FRENCH b. 1861 in KS or MO. She married Jasper Yarbrough. We had no knowledge of her
until her name was found in the 1911 obituary of her sister Mary Ann French Rardin. She was listed as Jane
Yarbrough in that document.
SUSAN2 FRENCH (PHILIP1) was born 10 September 1815 in Butler co. OH, and died 20 July 1839 in
Vermillion co. IN. She married WASHINGTON INGRAM 10 September 1835 in Vermillion co. IN. Susan
was buried in Trowbridge Cemetery near her parents. The stone reads: "In memory of Susan consort of
Washington Ingrum born Sept. 10th 1815 --July 11(?) 1839 aged 23 years, 10 months and 10 days.
S-------? Ann daughter of hers lies at her left side about one year old" The center of the stone where the
death date and age are recorded is damaged. The stone was located, cleaned, and photographed by
Nora French Lane in July 2007.

born 15 September 1809 in Kentucky, and died 26 June 1861 in Vermillion co. IN. She and her husband
are buried in Trowbridge Cemetery. Their children died young and are buried Trowbridge Cem.
